Services for Schools
Consulting for Educational
Institutions
For the public, private, and charter school guidance
departments, we conduct small group seminars, to improve
the guidance process, and serve as an independent
consulting resource. We have found that it is more
effective to do small groups; it makes the students
and parents feel more comfortable with asking questions,
opening up, and listening more effectively.
We have found that cost of education and college placement
is a top concern for families today in their selection
and evaluation of both public and private schools.
How schools manage this critical aspect of their educational
process is crucial to maintaining their families'
satisfaction, contributing to their students' future
development, and securing their reputation. Explaining
to students, parents, faculty, and their school board
or board of trustees the level of competition and
complexity in selective college admissions today,
and the importance of connecting to a wide variety
of colleges, helps them to see the school's college
guidance process in context.
The professional team at the Excellence
Matters can serve as the key independent resource
for your school, church, or organization to ensure
that your college guidance office is providing the
best possible support for all of your students and
families.
We do all we can to help students prepare for admission
to colleges of their choice; given the nature of the
admission process and selectivity of many colleges
and universities, we do not guarantee admission to
any specific institution.
